Food Hall Trends

It’s no secret that food halls are quickly inserting themselves in many restaurant scenes all across the nation. On the consumer end, we love the plentiful options under one roof at a typically affordable price. On the real estate end, food halls present themselves as solid ground floor options and attract crowds with that special destination experience. It’s a perfectly successful pairing, several clear examples existing in the Denver-area market.

So, does the trend seem to be slowing down in the new future? No; the opposite, actually. With the current number of food halls in the country projected to double by 2019, real estate developers should be careful not to over saturate their respective markets. Too much of a good thing takes away it’s uniqueness.
